My parents gave Ryan a dutch oven for his birthday and we were finally able to use it today. Under the direction of my dad (who is a pro dutch oven-er) Ryan and I decided that we try it ourselves. We made dutch oven potatoes with bacon and onions and peach cobbler. Everything turned out really well!
Katelyn, Taylor and I went to the Utah Natural History Museum with our good friends Jessica and Abby. The museum offers free admission on the first Monday of every month. Katelyn loved to dig for dinosaur bones and learn more about the insects that live in Utah. I thought it was gross to see huge spiders, a scorpion, dead mice and tons of frogs. It made my skin crawl-yuck!
