My parents gave Ryan a dutch oven for his birthday and we were finally able to use it today. Under the direction of my dad (who is a pro dutch oven-er) Ryan and I decided that we try it ourselves. We made dutch oven potatoes with bacon and onions and peach cobbler. Everything turned out really well!

I LOVE dutch oven. My dad is a pro dutch oven-er too and I grew up eating dutch oven all the time. It is good. I will have to get you some yummy recipes that my dad always makes!

That looks so good! We will have to have many cookouts this summer (and campouts, if we're brave). I'm so glad Ryan is getting into Dutch ovens. I love mine and I can't wait to use them again.
