PB bars

I have made these a lot lately and I love them! It seems like I always have a hard time finding the recipe so I thought I might add it to my blog so I can always find it.

1 c. butter
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 t. soda
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. flour

Mix together and press into a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes, until light brown.

Frosting:
3/4 c. butter
5 T. milk
1 t. vanilla
4 T. cocoa
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar

I got this recipe from my sister-in-law Alison. It has been a staple at my house for years. Enjoy!

Oh those sound yummy Christa. My step mom makes really good ones that I can't resist. That is why I can't make them or I will eat them all up. Hope everything is going well. Your kids are so cute and your little sweet boy is looking more like Catalin. Sorry I am sure misspelled her name.
